My background and experience
My background and experience has mainly been in Christian radio working both in New Zealand and the UK.
I have experience in the following areas:
- handling audio equipment
- producing and presenting programmes
- research and interview techniques
- public speaking and general communciation and building networks with other organisations.
I have also done feature writing and press releases and general publicity for promotion purposes. I have experience working with commercial radio in New Zealand and in being part of a publcity team for a semi-professional Theatre Company.
I would like to use my experience both in radio and Public Relations to help and advise individuals or small organisations to develop their product or service to raise their profile and reach a wider number of people.
With over twenty years experience working in the media and public relations and with an understanding of how to equip and train people to use the media and public relations, my skills can greatly benefit you or your organisations identity in the areas for a Public Relations Strategy and Media Training. I am a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations. I have a special interest in the media and in helping to develop awareness and understanding in this area.
